Have you ever dreamed of becoming a butterfly?
When you woke up, did you know if you were human or butterfly?
'Zhuang Zhou Puppet Theatre' is a philosophical journey that opens up your imagination.
'Puppets are more than just objects, and thoughts are more than just dreams.'
A puppet theatre like no other.
Using puppets to narrate Zhuang Zhou's dream, this performance combines live music, lighting projection, set design, and talents from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China to create a transcultural and multilingual experience.
Sung in Minnan, the performance brings Zhuang Zhou's dream to life through up-close puppetry, allowing the audience to connect with the soul of the puppets.
